Optical Connectivity is pleased to announce the release of short body, angled-exit boots for simplex and duplex LC applications terminated on 2.0mm jacketed cable.

The exit angle of 50 degrees maintains bend radius over a short length of boot, and allows cable to waterfall for tight spaces.

Overall length (tip of LC housing to back tip of boot) is 43mm (1.7").
Standard straight-exit LC connectors have an overall length of 49mm (1.93")
This 6mm reduction is essential for certain tight cabinet environments.

The SMC=SB strain relief boot is used with SMC connector for management of ribbon fiber optic cable. The boot allows the ribbon fiber to transition from a vertical connector mount to a smooth "waterfall" configuration.

The programmable MPO right angle strain relief allows field technicians to configure the orientation of the MPO strain relief in the field to meet the needs of their particular application. Unlike permanently mounted right angle strain relief designs, the programmable design can be configured in vertical or horizontal mounting positions as well as adjusted in 45 degree increments for full 360 degree flexibility. It allows users to retrofit straight exit MPO assemblies in the field as well.
